Have you seen the new del.icio.us yet?

There is no question that Del.icio.us is one the most popular sites on the net. We use it heavily to keep our bookmarks tidy. But yesterday, we noticed some new design and changes. We thought that it was part of a multivariate testing for the site, but it seems Yahoo! has finally released the new version of del.icio.us, and they have made it official as well.

Here are the early thoughts on this release:

  • The look and feel is much better than before. The site is a pleasure to look at right now. Thank you Yahoo!
  • Sorting has been improved and you have more options for sorting now. That’s very cool!
  • The speed seems to have improved a bit.
  • The URL has changed. It’s now finally delicious. Can’t imagine how much the dude who owned the domain was paid for giving it up to Yahoo!

There are other changes that I am sure will be found out as soon as people get their hands on this new interface. You can check the new interface of delicious here.
